Astana. June 17. KazTAG - The first session of investment ombudsman will take place on June 18 in Astana, said Yerlan Idrisov, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
"The session of investment ombudsman is planned to be held every quarter, the first session of investment ombudsman will be held tomorrow, June 18," he said at the round table on protection of foreign investors rights.
The first session will be dedicated to the issues of work with investors, application and coordination of state bodies' activity.
Among the aims of the new institute the Minister noted consulting services, solution of problematic issues on investors’ rights, provision of aid in litigation. According to MFA, the institute of investment ombudsman actively operates in South Korea, Indonesia, China, Mexico, Russia, the US and Chile.
