Astana. May 24. KazTAG - Industrial Karaganda and Shuchinsk-Borovoye resort zone in the perspective will be included into Astana agglomeration, said Serik Akhmetov, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
"Talking about the prospects of Astana development, I'd like to note, that Astana is being formed on the concept of the city of the future based on advanced solutions and smart technologies. Astana development is considered as a perspective zone of agglomeration development with perspective future involvement of Karaganda and Shuchinsk-Borovoye resort zone," Akhmetov said at Astana-Invest -2013 forum.
"As a whole Astana agglomeration has a big development potential as an international center of competitive services: medicine, tourist, innovational and others. Due to this the capital needs contemporary technologies - they must be directed on energy saving, development of "green economy" and transfer of modern technological solutions," he said.
