Consulate of Hungary opened in Shymkent
Almaty. January 30. KazTAG - Zhanseit Tuimebayev, akim of South Kazakhstan region, has received Andrash Barani, ambassador of Hungary, and Mikolsh Ishtavan, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Ties and Foreign Affairs.
The parties have discussed performance of the joint plan in the aims of effective cooperation and opened the consulate of Hungary.
"A solemn opening ceremony of the consulate of Hungary took place in Shymkent. (...) opening of the new consulate will enhance development of mutually beneficial bilateral relations and create huge opportunities for expansion of trade turnover between two states," reads the message.
Kairat Moldaseitov, president of Otau Group, has been appointed as an honorary consular of Hungary to Kazakhstan.
According to the National Bank, inflow of direct investments of Hungary to Kazakhstan makes $85.1 mln. Investments volume to Kazakhstan makes $8.7 mln.
